Kevin: Spiral Open - Backbends and Twists (73 Minutes)
Play Hard
•
1h 13m
This is a fun flowing practice that explores backbends and twists and the relationship between the two. There's a good amount of hamstring contraction added in for good measure to support the low back as the backbends progressively get deeper.
I broke a serious sweat with this class -- it felt great to move and breathe and feel strong! I hope you have the same experience. In terms of props, I use two blocks and two blankets to demonstrate; the blocks are super important, but you can easily substitute pillows or towels for the blankets if you need.
