Kevin: A Partridge in a Pear Tree (63 Minutes)
Play Hard
•
1h 3m
As a fun treat for the holidays, this class is themed around a complicated, advanced posture called kapinjalasana, or Partridge Pose. This arm-balancing backbend can be thought of as a hybrid of king dancer and side plank postures, which means it requires a lot of strength and stability through multiple rages of movement. We move nice and slow and look at lots of modified versions of the partridge before we put it all together.
Suggested Props: a block and a strap at minimum, but have more if you usually like to have it!
