If you want to learn how to perform arm balances or deep forward folds you need to first learn how to release your hips and side waist in such a way that your outer ribs can make contact with your inner thighs. This fun, flowing sequence helps you make some sense of this peculiar action. You have the option to explore an arm balance (bhujapidasana) at the end. Two blocks are recommended.
