Kevin: Twists and Core Galore (65 Minutes)
Play Hard

This video (shockingly) is a twisting class. We begin with a pretty specific and challenging bit of core work to concentrate energy at our center and to learn how to stabilize our hips and low back. What follows is a pretty fluid, flowing practice that will stir that concentrated energy up and make space to twist. The practice all builds up to Revolved Half Moon, which I find to be the hardest of all the standing twist postures. A little inverting, backbending and hip opening follows.
I demo with two blocks and a blanket and use the wall for a couple poses. You can make it work with fewer props for sure - I give you some ideas along the way.
